This is the boat I built over the summer in 2006. It is a modified
version of Sam Devlin's "Dipper". It is constructed using the
W.E.S.T. (wood, epoxy, saturation, technique) system and built of the
best plywood I've ever cut into. It is 18 feet long with a seven feet
beam and a 65hp outboard on a bracket off the transom. The boat pops
up on a plane and cruises at 17 knots. It's the coolest thing ever
and gets my buddies and me to the local secret surf spots nearly
year-round.
